Synopsis:
What’s real? What’s not? Who’s good? Who’s not? Peter Marlin lives in the borderlands: He’s not superstitious but will still make a birthday wish. He’s seen a ghost, but only shares that with his best friend. An explosion puts his wife in a coma and sends dominoes falling that rip his charmed, picket-fence life apart. He loses his job, his house, and faces financial trouble. As he picks up the pieces, he finds nothing is as he thought. He faces a choice: save all he loves—or save everything else.
